There has been question about how to manage file size.

So you can manage file size by maxRequestLength in Web.Config:

e.g. for 2MB:
<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="2048" />

Can somebody explain why the control, when using IE 8, prints "C:\fakepath\" before the name of the uploaded file? (Happens after uploading a file, but before clicking the Save button).

Firefox shows the file name only, which I think is correct.

Regards,

Fredrik
